This Saturday, Oct. 14, we’re back with another Events at The Free Books Place. Come join talented, passionate, and kind members of our community for some creativity and relaxation. Poet and community organizer Reet Starwind will lead an All Ages Poetry Cafe followed by an Art Meditation led by mixed media artists Nadine LaFond of Art Lives Studio and Kayla Simone of Kay Soul.
AGENDA
🕚 10-11AM, Reet will lead a poetry writing and reading session for kids, teens, adults and elders. All are welcomed.
🕚 11AM-12PM, a break for book browsing and snacks.
🕚 12-1PM, led by Nadine and Kayla will lead an Art Meditation session through stream of consciousness painting. All are welcomed.
Artists and organizers will gather every 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month to share their creativity and the joy of literacy with our community, and you’re invited!
