Our Team
Tom Martin
Founder & Executive Director
tom@thefreebooksproject.org
Since hosting his first pop-up library in 2017, Tom has become a fixture of the Camden community. His dream of improving lives through access to books birthed The Free Books Project, and his consistent presence in the city since its inception has sustained a community of readers of all ages who might not otherwise have access to literature. Tom is an avid reader of all genres, from poetry to journalism, and his favorite thing about The Free Books Project is making meaningful connections with members of the Camden community.
Amy Saul-Zerby
Director of Marketing and Development
amy@thefreebooksproject.org
A longtime book nerd, Amy came to The Free Books Project after meeting Tom at a local poetry series and quickly set about putting her marketing and writing experience to work for the organization. Having lived in the city of Camden for eight years, Amy was thrilled to have the opportunity to get involved in the community. Her favorite thing about The Free Books Project is helping to give children access to books at home. Reading was her lifeline during her own childhood, and it is her deep wish for every child to have the opportunity to be a young reader.
